Bud and I had a lot of fun at Titusville High School, Class '69. After graduation, I ended up managing a Phillips 66 gas station near SR46 & I-95 in Mims. Bud brought his new Chevy Camaro over for me to fix, after he did his own tune-up on it. It was an easy fix swapping the plug wires on 5 & 7. After that, I ended up hiring Bud to pump gas.It was not until a few years ago that I was buying some electrical parts in Melbourne that I met his son, Bill. I told him a few stories about Bud and I called Bud a few times where we also has a few laughs. I to will miss him. I am still going to laugh, when I think about plug wires.

September 29, 2014Aww...so sorry to hear about Bud's passing. I never had the pleasure of meeting him. He was my cousin, Nancy Rhinefield's friend and he was there for her every day of the last couple years of her life. He called her every night and gave her great joy and comfort till she passed last December. The highlight of her day was Bud's nightly calls. What a wonderful, sweetheart of a man. So very, very sad. My deepest condolences to his family.~ Elizabeth CornaGlenville,NC

Bud was one of a kind. Not sure if he ever met anyone that was a stranger. He will truly be missed. I pray the family finds peace, strength and comfort in the presence of the Lord now and all the years to come. Bless each of you. Rev. 21:1-4

I got to know Bud in the 70's when he was part of a group of about 15 of us that spent our weekends together enjoying life centered around Moonlight Drive-in; Ramada Inn; Playlinda Beach and any place in Tville we could gather - even the McDonald's tables out front of the restaurant or the Burger Chef parking lot! We loved just passing the time with laughter and acting crazy. He will truly be missed and always be remembered for his gentle soul and loving heart. Our prayers are with the family and may you find peace in the promise that you will be with him again in heaven.
