Walter E. Acosta

Walter E. Acosta, 65, of Haines City, Fl., passed away at Heart of Florida Hospital in Davenport, Fl. on March 3, 2017. Walter was born March 27,1951 in Canelones, Uraguay. He moved to this area two years ago from Walthom, Massachussetts. He was a Maintenance Foreman for the federal Government at the Minute Man National Park in Concord, Ma.. He was a member of the Elks and Moose Clubs in Waltham, Ma.. Preceded in death by his wife Julia Acosta in 2015, he is survived by his son Jose E. Acosta of Waltham, Ma.; daughter Jennifer M. Arroyo of Lake Wales, Fl; brother Jose A. Cornejo, and sister Maria Carmen Santiago of Walthanm, Ma.; as well as three Grandchildren. Visitation will be held from Wednesday, March 8,2017 from 5:00 p.m.. to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at St Ann's Catholic Church in Haines City with Father Fracillis Pettit-Homme officiating. Follow by burial at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City.
