Walter Clement
December 25th, 1940 - June 21st, 2016
Biography Walter Joseph Clement, 75, of Erie, CO, died June 21, 2016 at his residence. Walter was the son of Emil W. A. Clement and Josephine G Clement (Iraci). He was born and raised in Lansdowne, Maryland. Walter married Daphne Reynolds in 1961 in England. Walter enlisted in the Air Force in 1959. He served in Vietnam and retired from the Air Force in 1980. While stationed at Holloman AFB in New Mexico, he acquired his private pilot license. After retiring, Walter moved to Colorado in 1980 and he worked for a helicopter company in Erie, Colorado where he became the President of the company. He also obtained his FAA inspector license during that time. In his later years Walter taught Aircraft and PowerPlant (A&P) at Redstone College. Walter is survived by his two daughters, Davina A. (Michael) Bell and Aleta M. (Terry) Boardman; grandchildren, Tyler James (Jaqulynne) Bell, Craig Michael Bell, Shawn Anthony (Amelia) McCracken and Keri Anne (Joseph) Morales; great-grandchildren, Jason, Reiley, Waytt, and one on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister and his brother. Visitation will be held at 9:30 am - 10:30 am, Wednesday, June 29, 2016, Carroll-Lewellen Funeral Home Chapel, 503 Terry St., Longmont, CO, Funeral Service to commence at 10:30 am. Interment at 1:30 pm, Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area B, Denver, CO. Service Information A service summary is not available
