HAMPTON, Walter Howard, 86, of Lutz, FL passed away Friday, April 19, 2013. He was born in War, WV and moved to Florida in 1976. Walter was a United States Army Veteran and served during WWII. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Jehovah Witnesses faith. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Katherine; brothers, Cecil and Bob (Robert); sisters, Pauline Stout, Betty Quita, Loraine Murphy. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Evelyn Hampton; two sons, David and his wife, Christine and Mark and his wife, Rhonda; three brothers, Everett, JR and George; sister, Maxine Fitzgerald; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Walter’s final resting place will be in West Virginia.
