Macon, GA: Walter Emory Nelson, Jr., 73, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2015. Visitation will be on Wednesday, December 2, 2015, beginning at 10:00 AM, with the service to follow at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Heritage Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Mr. Nelson was born in Miami, FL. He was the son of the late Walter E. and Mary (Studstill) Nelson, Sr. He was a property manager with Crown Leasing and a veteran of the United States Army. Survivors include his daughter, Jackie Nelson of Stockbridge, 2 sons, Jason (Jessica) Nelson of Kathleen and Josh (Diana) Nelson of Bonaire, and sister, Ann (William) Harvill of Warner Robins. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of Houston County at 810 Carl Vinson Pkwy., Centerville, GA, 31028.
