Walter Joseph Pecosky
August 7th, 1926
Walter Joseph Pecosky 1926 ~ 2012 Walter was born to Andrew and Katherine Pecosky on August 7, 1926 in Dixonville, Pennsylvania. He joined the Navy in 1943 and served during World War II. The Navy was his greatest passion. He never missed one of Dwayne's games when Dwayne played at the University of Wyoming. He was known for his cooking especially those "Baby Back Ribs". Also he was an expert fisherman, always bringing home the "big ones." He shared his fisherman secret with Walt. Walter was an Artist and a Carpenter. In fact he made the Nativity Scene for Our Lady Mother of the Church. He was a Great Father. Walter is survived by: His wife, Martha; Daughter, Karen A. (Frank) Torres; Sons, Walt (Cindy) Pecosky and Dwayne (Tess) Pecosky; Grandchildren, Steven, Tammy, Jeffrey, Brandi, Shalon, James, Travis, Dwayne Jr. and Aubrey; 14 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren and 1 brother, Andy Pecosky. Walter was preceeded in death by several family members, including his parents and several siblings. Birth: Aug 7, 1926, Dixonville, Pennsylvania Death: Oct 13, 2012, Denver, Colorado
