Walter A. Simpson
June 3rd, 1926 - September 20th, 2014
Walt was born June 3, 1926 to Walter E. and Evelyn L. Simpson in Ontario, OR. Walt (Bud) married H. Ferne Stoneman in Payette, Idaho on May 19, 1950. They were married for 64 years. They had two children, Judy Presnell (Perk) of New Plymouth, ID and Joe Simpson (Dawn) of Federal Way, WA. Walt loved the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He loved his dogs. Walt was a master mechanic who, with his brother Ray, constructed and operated Simpson Motors for a number years. Walt retired from Owyhee Irrigation Company in 1993. He is survived by his wife Ferne, daughter Judy, son Joe, a sister Doris Jenson of Unity, OR, grandchildren Matthew, Craig, Misty, Lisa, Kirsten, Manda, Julie, and Bentley along with 20 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister. Graveside services will be held at Riverside Cemetery at Payette, Idaho, on Thursday, September 25th at 2 pm.
