Wanda Gwynn Sanders

Wanda Gwynn Sanders, 71, of Greeley, CO passed away May 20, 2024 at Swedish Medical Center in Englewood, CO.  She was born on June 14, 1952 in Sherveport, LA to Audrey and Clara (Smith) Higgins. Wanda grew up in Texarkana, Arkansas and in Fort Worth, Texas.  She graduated from high school in Fort Worth.  She married Ray Sanders on May 5, 1972 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Wanda had worked at Access International for 4 years in Florida and well as a couple other electronic business, she was also a homemaker.   She loved the mountains and camping, embroidery, playing games on her phone and spending time at the beach collecting shells.

Wanda is survived by her daughters, Dana Gonzales and husband Arnold of Evans, Colorado and Mary Jane Beckcom and husband Jason of Karnack, Texas; her grandchildren, Lisa Mitich of Greeley, Jeffrey Gonzales of Greeley, Jerry Franklin of Alabama and Amy Franklin of Texas and 7 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Raymond Higgins and wife Sandy of Little Rock, Arkansas and Jean Clark of Texarkana, Arkansas.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Sanders, her parents and her brother, Charles Higgins.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 12:00p.m. to 2:00p.m. at Adamson Life Celebration Home.
