With family by his side on Friday, February 27, 2015, the Lord called upon his angels to guide Warren 'Norge' Pollock Sr. on his journey home. Born on December 12, 1950, to his parents Earl Pollock and Camille (Warner) Pollock in Amsterdam, New York and then welcomed by them upon his journey home. Warren was a happy, quiet and shy child growing up in Fonda, New York with his siblings; Barbara (Pollock) Courlis (deceased), Kenneth Pollock, Virginia (Pollock)Cady, Donald Pollock, Alice (Pollock) Hillman (deceased), David Pollock (deceased),Norma Pollock, Paul Pollock, Richard Pollock and Charlene Pollock. As a child Warren was a member of the Fonda Reformed Church and graduated from the Fonda-Fultonville High School. Warren is remembered as being proud when introducing children to his friends and family. He is survived by his three children; a daughter Lisa (Pollock) Choat, her husband Albert and four children (Christopher Cionek Jr, Kaitlyn, Ernestine and Angelica), son Douglas Pollock and his four children (Kristina, Taylor, Lakeisha and Bonnie) and a son Warren Pollock Jr, his wife Megan and two children (Jason and Tucker). He is also survived by three stepchildren Christopher Jackson, his wife Cindy and three children (Nicole, Kelsey, and Hannah), Michael Miner, his girlfriend Leigh-Shell and three children (Dallis, Jackie and Jessie) and Lisa Miner and her child (Kyle). Warren will also be missed by several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Warren is known for being a jack of all trade. Working for Vosburg's in Fultonville, NY, leather mills in and around Fulton County, working as a truck driver, with foundation and painting. As an adult many remember him as being a quiet, kind and gentle man who enjoyed life and a good laugh. Warren enjoyed spending time reminiscing, fishing, watching western films, car racing and listening to country music with his many friends. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of his life will take place at a later date.
