Warren "Buddy" Francis Rusler

January 24th, 1939 - August 21st, 2024

Warren (Buddy) Francis Rusler, age 85, of Ridgeville, SC, passed away peacefully on the evening of August 21, 2024 at his home.

Warren was born January 24, 1939 in Washington DC, a son of George and Anna Ball Rusler. Warren loved his country and served seven years in the United States Army. He went on to retire from Charleston Naval Shipyard (Shop 38) as a Nuclear Supervisor. Warren was a member of Mt. Tabor Methodist Church. 

Surviving is his wife of 55 years, Sandra Owens Rusler of Ridgeville, SC, a son, Tony F. Rusler and his wife Renee of Lebanon, SC;  a daughter, Terry F. Marshall and her husband Allan of Leicester, NC: two grandsons, Zachary F. Rusler of Lebanon, SC and Matthew C. Willis and his wife Amanda of Clyde, NC; one granddaughter Aleece Marshall and one great granddaughter, Bella Willis of Clyde, NC.

Warren was preceded in death by his siblings, Faith Anderson, Constance Ducker, Irene Lewis, and Robert (Bobby) Rusler. 

Memorial Services will be held at Mt. Tabor Methodist Church in Ridgeville, SC on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at 11am. In remembrance of Warren's life, the family asks that charitable donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to Mt. Tabor Methodist Church 244 S. Main Street, Ridgeville, SC 29472 or Lebanon Cemetery 1646 Lebanon Rd, Ridgeville, SC 29472.
