Wayne Wallace of Punta Gorda, Florida departed his earthly life on Monday, June 3rd, 2024. He was born in Winter Haven, Florida on October 9th, 1957 to James and Jena Lee (Langford) Wallace.
Wayne was a beloved member of the Word of Life Tabernacle and worked in fiberglass repair & restoration.
He was born and raised in Polk County Florida. He later moved to Punta Gorda where he resided with his late wife Amy Wallace. They spent 27 happy years together until she was called home.
Wayne served our country in the Air Force for 2 years where he received his degree as an aircraft mechanic. His hobbies included anything to do with fishing and he loved spending time with his granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and loving wife Amy. He is survived by his brothers, Robert and Gary Wallace; sons, Erik Wallace, Jessey McCall, Alex Wallace, daughter, Leia McCall; grand-daughters, Jenna Lee McCall, Alyssa McCall, LeAnn Hollis, and Adalee Pointer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at Deep Creek Community Church. 1500 Cooper St, Punta Gorda, Florida
