Wendy Nance Schisler went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 6, 2021. She was born to Harry and Helen Stiger in Pittsburgh, PA on April 5, 1956, and adopted by Ray and Clara Shutterly therafter. Wendy Schisler absolutely loved life and those she shared it with. She was an extremely jovial and happy person. She was very talkative and was an absolute joy to be around. Wendy was a member at Green Hill Baptist Church for many years and worked as a missionary in Africa. She was a healthcare manager at Palmetto Baptist Hospital for 30+ years. She loved to make beaded jewelry and watch late night TV with her husband, Rob. She enjoyed shopping and was known as an animal lover. She also loved to roller skate, which played a big part in bringing their family together. Her daughter, Rachel, was her best friend. Wendy will be remembered as someone who loved her family fiercely, loved her life, and loved the people in her life. Wendy is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Kenneth F. Nance; her brother, Gregg Stiger; and her sister, Elizabeth “Betty” Stiger. Wendy is survived by her husband of 16 years, Rob Schisler; her daughter, Rachel Nance; her brother, Wayne Stiger (Paula); her sisters, Sharon Stiger Grady, and Lois Robinson; and her 3 stepchildren: Danny Schisler, Chris Pham, and Skyler Krough. A memorial service will be held for Wendy Schisler at Celestial Memorial Gardens at a later date.
