Obituary Wesley George Allen January 7, 1936 to November 6, 2017 Celebration of Life Services Will be held at: November 19, 2017 Sunday at 1:00 pm Christ Life Center 1780 Lincoln Ave. S.E. Port Orchard, WA 98366 Wesley George Allen 81, lived in Port Orchard, WA. with his sister Karen and his cousin Joe. As a Snowbird he lived half the year at his home in Caliente Del Sol, a retirement community in Florence, AZ, a place where he made many close friends. He was born January 7th, 1936 and passed away November 6th 2017 at Allenmore Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. He is survived by his two sisters, Delores Margaret Brown of Bonnie Lake, and Karen Gale Ranes of Port Orchard, WA. Wesley was born to George and Viola Allen in Lemington, Wisconsin, where he lived only a short time then moved to Missoula, Montana in 1943; the families final move was to Washington State in 1945. The Allen family worked in the Labor camps and orchards and various other jobs. While Wesley was going to school he met Fredia Mae Blaine, his future wife. They married in a double wedding ceremony with his sister Delores and Pete Bliss February 19, 1953 in Richland WA. Wesley and Fredia had 6 children. Wesley is also the father of one son with Janette Ranes. He was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. While working construction, he met lifelong friends Ronny and Shirley DeVore. Wes and Ron both worked for Union 76 in Seattle. Later they left and started a construction company. They eventually ended the company but remained friends to the end. There were Many adventures and multiple family connections; Good times were shared in the Valley where they lived by each other and raised their families together along with the Pikes, Kuchmans, Ragers, Reed’s, Stires, Reeves, DeVore’s, Ramsdale’s, Herman’s and many other families in the small “Valley” community. Wesley is survived by his Loving Companion Arleen Evans.
