Wesley "Wes" David Hendrickson
March 15th, 1984 - June 5th, 2023
Wesley David Hendrickson, 39, of Little Canada MN, passed away peacefully on June 5th, 2023. Wes was born on March 15th, 1984 to Glenn and Cynthia (nee Hewitt) Hendrickson of International Falls, MN. Wes spent much of his childhood traveling with his parents and older siblings, having fun on Rainy Lake, and catching numerous snakes and frogs to gift his mother. He was loved by many residents of International Falls as he grew up and became a talented musician, involving himself in his band, ForthAngel, as well as working with others as a beloved vocalist and bass player as the years followed. After graduating from Falls High School in 2002, he went on to explore any experience and adventure he could find, while making friends with anyone he could along the way. In 2011 he met and fell in love with his significant other, Kim, who he has spent the past twelve years sharing an adventurous life with. In 2015 he became an Ironworker for Local 512, eventually stepping into the role as a Foreman for E&J. He was hardworking, very knowledgeable, would always stand up for what is right and kept humor going at each job site. He was proud of being part of something that he felt he belonged. Wes lived a life full of fun and adventure. He loved spending time on his motorcycle, dirt biking, gaming, playing music, fishing, traveling and exploring the outdoors. He was always ready for an adventure or anything fun. Wes could always be relied on for telling a good story and showing off pictures of his three loved Guinea pigs. Wes is known for always being a friend to all, his fierce love and protectiveness for everyone in his life. Wes was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Hendrickson; grandparents, Floyd and Beverly Hewitt; and grandparents, Louie and Edna Hendrickson. He is survived by his partner, Kim Shannon; his "children", Pepper, Poppy & Peanut (guinea pigs); father, Glenn Hendrickson; brother, Andrew Hendrickson; brother, Stephen Hendrickson; sister, Heidi Johns; and sister, Jana Hendrickson. He is also survived by his seven nieces and nephews, many aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of life will be held to honor Wes and those who loved him, location and date is yet TBD.
