Versailles Wilamae Vaux Sako, 89, died Sunday, November 9. Ms. Sako was born in Gary, IN on June 6, 1925, to Hubert and Dorothy Norton Vaux. She was an LPN at St. Margaret's Hospital in Hammond, IN. She is survived by her children, Jerry Sako, of Green Valley, AR, Gayle Koontz, of Nicholasville, KY, Jim Sako of Wolcottville, IN, Lynne Sako, of Versailles, KY, Beth Trtan, of Crown Point, IN, John Sako, of Denver, CO; her brother, Hubert Vaux, of Cape Coral, FL; 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her companion, Chester Hanas. Funeral Information Services will be 1:00PM Friday, November 14, at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home in Schererville, IN. Interment will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 5:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, November 13 at the funeral home.
