Elliott Knight, 75, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Trident Hospital in North Charleston ,SC. He was born in Macbeth, SC to Wilfred Iowa Knight and Irma Timmons Knight. He was retired from the Boiler Makers Union. He enjoyed gardening, playing golf and taking long walks. He is survived by his wife Mary; a brother, Ken Knight of Moncks Corner; daughters Lydia Knight and her fiancé Chad Burbage of Pinopolis, and Emily Carver of Summerville; a son, Joshua Ellison of Bluefield, WV; grandchildren Logan Knight, Brandon Law, Brogan Elaine Knight, Adelyn Marie Carver, Ashlyn Brooke Carver, and Madelyn Reese Carver. He was predeceased by a brother Hugh Knight of Florida, and a sister Ann Knight of Moncks Corner, SC. A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, July 13 at 12 pm at Santee Circle Community Church in Moncks Corner, SC. The family will receive visitors at the church beginning at 11 am. Services are being provided by Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services (281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC 29456.)
