Wilhemina A. Countryman-Schyler, 54, of Gloversville, N.Y., has gone to her eternal rest on Saturday, July 15th, 2017. Born on November 4th, 1962, she was the daughter of Carol Gingras and the late Douglas Countryman. Wilhemina, known to her family and close friends as Willie; attended local schools and graduated from Gloversville High School. She married Barry Schyler. Barry adored Willie and remained by her side until her passing. Wilhemina loved to crochet and cook. She enjoyed camping with her family and loved to plan parties and social gatherings. She will be remembered by her family as a go-getter, a very sociable person who was well liked by many. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered. Wilhemina is survived by her beloved husband Barry; her mother Carol Countryman; her sisters, Sabrina Countryman and Lovetta Colmanero; her brother Douglas Countryman Jr.; her niece and grandniece, Cheryl Miles and Aaliyah Hilts; her great nephew Xavier Gonzales; her fur companion and best friend Dixie; her close friend Matt Gonzales; and all of her second family and close friends at Lexington Center. Wilhemina is predeceased by her daughter Wilhemina; her father Douglas Countryman; and her grandparents Walter and Viola Countryman. A Graveside Service will take place on Thursday July 20th, 2017, at 9am at Ferndale Cemetery, N Perry Street, Johnstown, N.Y. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, N.Y., 12078.
