William 'Kirk' Scheitler November 30, 1971 - August 4, 2024
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William 'Kirk' Scheitler on August 4, 2024. Born on November 30, 1971, Kirk was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend whose kindness and unwavering loyalty touched the lives of many.
Kirk is survived by his beloved wife, Samantha Padilla Scheitler; his cherished children, daughter Anna-Natassja Scheitler and son William 'Rian' Scheitler; and his sister, Karen Scheitler. He was preceded in death by his parents, William A. Scheitler and Lucille 'Dutchess' Iacino Scheitler, whose legacy Kirk worked tirelessly to preserve, particularly through his dedication to maintaining the rich traditions of North Denver.
Kirk had a deep connection to his North Denver Italian roots, and he possessed an incredible knack for knowing, reminiscing, and sharing stories about his family’s heritage and the history of North Denver. His love for his community and its history was evident in the way he kept these memories alive, passing them down to future generations with pride.
He was a pillar of strength and compassion, especially evident in his unwavering support of his wife Samantha during her two liver transplants. His positive outlook on life, encapsulated by his belief that "everything will work out," was a source of comfort to those around him.
Kirk lived a wonderful life, deeply caring for his family and ensuring that the values and traditions of his father’s legacy continued to thrive. His presence in the lives of those who knew him will be profoundly missed, but his spirit and memory will continue to inspire and guide us.
