ATWOOD, William W. "Bill" 65, of Tampa passed away on Sunday, February 21st, 2016. Bill was predeceased by both parents, William Atwood and Thelma (Barbara) Daigneault O'Claire, and his brother, Bruce Atwood. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Bonnie, his stepchildren, Mark Shepherd, Micah Shepherd, Rhonda Dinka and her husband, Larry, one brother, Barry Atwood, four sisters, Betty Atwood, Beverly Speer, Bonita Gorham and Barbara Foley-Bergstrom, five grandchildren, Jordan, Gerryson, Alyssa, Daniel, Tiara, nieces and nephews. Bill retired from the United States Postal service in 2009 after 24 years of service. He was a Vietnam Veteran (Navy) and a member of the American Legion Post 139 and the APWU Tampa Local 259 Retirees Division. A private graveside service will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery. Please join us for a Celebration of Life at the Tampa Elk's Lodge, 3616 W Gandy Blvd, Tampa FL 33616 on March 13th at 3:00.
