William "Bill" H. Augustin

William H. "Bill" Augustin Of Waukesha, died peacefully on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the age of 90. Bill was a lifelong avid gardener, and also loved fishing on Lac La Belle where he maintained a home for many years. He served in the Navy as a Seabee in the Pacific during WW II, and upon discharge he went to work at Staff Electric. He retired as a project manager at Staff Electric 42 years later, having worked on the construction of many prominent buildings in southeast Wisconsin. Bill was proud of the years he served on the volunteer fire department while living in the Village of Bayside. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 64 years, Janice; children, James Augustin of San Antonio, TX, Stevan Augustin of Milwaukee, Jill (Calvin) Winter of Rockford, IL, and Patricia (Dick) Mainz of Waukesha; grandchildren, Rebecca, Lisa, Nathan, Paul, Danielle, and Mark; 4 great- grandchildren; sister Lorraine Williams; and other relatives and friends. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations to the Alzheimer's Association th (alz.org) 620 S. 76 St. Ste. 160 Milwaukee, WI 53214 or Avalon Square, 222 Park Place Waukesha, WI 53186 in Bill's honor will be appreciated by his family.
