Mr. William Gale Bammer, age 89 a resident of Lake Alfred passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015 at Consulate Health Care of Winter Haven. Mr. Bammer was born October 17, 1926 in Evansville, Indiana to Dave & Esther (Krietemeyer) Bammer. He was a Polk County resident since 1955 coming from Evansville. William graduated from Central High School Class of 1944 in Evansville, attended Indiana University and graduated from Evansville University with an Education Degree. He was a retired high school teacher and a veteran of the United States Marines. Bill taught History at Auburndale High School and coached football there for over 30 years. He attended Grace Lutheran Church in Winter Haven and served as an Elder. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife - Marcella; brothers & sister. Bill is survived by his loving family; 2 Sons: Blake (Melanie) Bammer of Angier, N.C., Barry (Peggy) Bammer of Lake Alfred, FL. 3 Grandchildren: Derek (Rachel) Bammer of Ft. Polk, LA., Mallory (Gregory) Young of Middleburg, FL., Patricia Bammer of Lake Alfred, FL., 1 Gt. Granddaughter: Amberlyn Rose Hinton of Lake Alfred, FL.,
