WILLIAM ROBERT BATT Bob died on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at his home in Forest Ranch, CA. He was born in Forbestown, CA on April 29, 1932. He was one of six children born to Clarence and Mildred Batt. They are Marie Isaacs, Alvin Batt (deceased), Shirley Leonard, Donna Smith and Rolland (Ron) Batt. Bob attended Chico High School and later became a Partner in Bailey and Anderson Plumbing Co., along with Wesley (Andy) Anderson, his father-in-law and Clinton Anderson, his brother-in-law. Bob married his High School Sweetheart, Barbara Jean Anderson in 1951 and they celebrated 59 years of marriage and had two sons, Danny Joe and William Wesley Batt (Bill died in 1993). Bob was a patient, loving father, grandfather of six and great-grandfather of nine. He enjoyed many sports, archery, fishing, motorcycles, hunting, and boating, but what he loved the most was his horses and backpacking with them in the Warner Mts. He was a Charter member of Forest Ranch Baptist Church. Memorial Services will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Church (Schott Rd) with private graveside services in the Forest Ranch Cemetery at 1;00 p.m.
