William "Bill" L Baugus

William"Bill" L. Baugus, 75, of Gaston, South Carolina passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2019. He was born on September 13, 1943 in Gobler, Missouri to the late Jack and Opal (Morris) Baugus . Bill loved his black coffee every morning. He enjoyed working on his favorite '53 Ford Victorian and also in his yard. Bill had a great sense of humor and was a jokester. He was very soft spoken. Bill was a family man and loved them all dearly, especially his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren. William is survived by his spouse Lynnette Brazell; his children, Rosemary (Shawn) Baugus, David (Heidi) Baugus, Traci (Tim) Bodfish, Ethan K. Brazell; his siblings, Larry (Teresa) Baugus, Allan (Barb) Baugus, Patricia (Harry) Kreutziger, his grandchildren, Logan (LIz) Noble, Liam (Jerrica) Noble, David William Baugus, Elizabeth Baugus, Austin Steenwyk, Tanner Baugus, Tayrn (Blane) Pratt, Tandra (Matt) Dey; his great-grandchildren, Luna Baugus, Aleeka Baugus, Layla Baugus, Harley Baugus, Molly Baugus, Madison Baugus, Anthony Baugus, Hayden Dey, Emery Dey, Peyton Pratt, Weston Pratt, and Jamson Pratt and many special nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister Ginnie Lou "Jean" Scharf. There will be a Memorial Service held at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington, 4720 Augusta Road, Lexington, SC 29073 on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11:00AM. There will be a reception following. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to help with the Memorial expenses, as this was so unexpected. Family and friends may sign the online guest book at www.thompsonsfuneral.com
