William J. “Bill” Bolia, 69, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 13, 2024.

Born on October 18, 1954, in Lake Placid, NY, a son of the late Francis and Sarah (Morey) Bolia.

Bill was a proud United States Army Veteran. He graduated from Hudson Valley Community College where he then went on to work for Watervliet Arsenal for many years, until his retirement on December 29, 2017.

In Bills spare time, he loved to hunt, fish, collect antiques and go to the Casinos. Bill also was a big help to not just everyone he knew, but also to the Amish Community around him. Most of all, Bill was a loving husband, stepfather, grandfather, brother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

On February 14, 1984, Bill married his loving wife, Delia (Martin) Bolia, whom he met while working as a Mechanic at Duane Rentals. Delia was the love of his life and through Delia, Bill gained four stepchildren, Marlene Mango (George Rossi), Robert Mango, Jr (Marcy), Michelle Couball (Robert) and Shirlee Pelosi (John). He is also survived by many grandchildren & great-grandchildren; his brother, Leonard Rosa; his sister, Jeanne Velett; other stepsiblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.

A celebration of life for Bill will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at 4pm at Bill’s House.
