William Edward Brewington Mr. Brewington, 69, of Charlotte, NC died on October 29, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center. He was born on July 8, 1943 in Hartsville, SC, son of the late William Edward Brewington Sr. and Jemmie Segars Gettis. Mr. Brewington retired from Folger Leasing and also as Chief of Security for Mecklenburg County. He is survived by his wife Arnette; sons Grey and his wife, Beth of Mooresville, NC and Kevin of Phoenix, AZ; and a granddaughter Sumner. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Friday, November 2, 2012 at Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, 2701 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28209. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Holy Comforter Episcopal Church, 2701 Park Rd. Charlotte, NC 28209.
