William Pool Camp passed away at Tacoma General Hospital on March 25, 2024. Born on November 18, 1941, in Atlanta Georgia, to parents Ellis and Helen Camp. Sibling Frank Camp. William joined the U.S. Army and in 1965 served in the South Korea War. Married Chong Lee Camp. He served in the Vietnam War and did two tours in 1970 and 1971. He retired from the Army after 22 years. College graduate at Emory Riddle University in Atlanta Georgia. An instructor pilot then worked for Lockheed Martin. He was a business owner, including a restaurant in Gig Harbor. He was also a follower of Christ. William leaves behind his wife, two sons, two daughters-in-law and two grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Service is in care of Edwards Memorial followed by Honors service at Tahoma National
