Dahlstrom, William L. "Bill", 76, of St. Petersburg, died Friday, November 6, 2009, at home. Bill was born in Tampa, FL. He was a United States Army veteran, having served as a Paratrooper. Bill was the Station Manager for the US Postal Service and was acting Post Master for Bradenton Beach prior to his retirement. He was Lutheran and a member of Cathedral of St. Jude the Apostle. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, shooting pool and hunting. Bill was also a huge fan of the Bucs and Rays, loved riding his Harley, and doing crossword puzzles. He loved to do woodworking, having done many projects at his home. Bill was a member of the VFW Post 273, the American Legion, and the Elks. He was preceded in death by his parents: Leah Louise & Elmer Carl Dahlstrom; sister and brother-in-law: Lorraine & Carl Hudson; brother: Robert Dahlstrom. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Dahlstrom, St. Petersburg sons: David E. Zalewski and Linda Anderson, St. Petersburg and Michael V. and Michelle Zalewski, St. Petersburg; granddaughters:Marissa M. Carrigan Morris and Michaela M. Zalewski Tater, both of Seminole; sister-in-law: Lois Dahlstrom; sister-in-law and brother-in-law: Dolores and Lawrence Delmont and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to either Gulfcoast Oncology or Moffitt Cancer Center. Anderson-McQueen Family Tribute Centers
