William Grant Denell, 59, of Cabin John, Maryland, died March 8, 2015. He was born to the late William T. and Olive N. Denell, September 15, 1955, in Bethesda, Maryland. Billy graduated from Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland in 1973. He was married to Dawn D. Denell in 1976 and resided in Cabin John, Maryland and Punta Gorda, Florida. Billy is survived by two children: Kara Williams of Hampstead, North Carolina and Brian Denell, of Cabin John, Maryland. He also is survived by four granddaughters, Mackenzie, Sumer, Charlie and Emerson. Billy has received a brand new body in heaven that is free of cancer and simply full of everlasting life. He will be sorely missed by his children, grandchildren and me, but, boy did he teach all of us how to live and love. There may come a time when we all gather together to celebrate his life, but for now, the family needs time to re-gather our strength after this long journey. May you rest in eternal peace, my sweet Billy.
