William "Bill" Farrington
June 28th, 1937 - April 12th, 2018
Mr. Bill Farrington, 80, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Born June 28, 1937, to the late William Herbert Farrington and Molly Lucile Coleman, Mr. Farrington was a life-time resident of High Point. A funeral service will be held in the sanctuary of Parkwood Baptist Church in High Point on Sunday, April 15 at 2p.m. with Reverend Daniel Pittman officiating. Interment will follow at Sandy Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery in High Point. The family will receive friends following the interment. Bill was a member of Parkwood Baptist Church and honorably served his country. He is survived by his children; Steve Farrington, Michelle Umberger (Fred) and Jeff Farrington (Lori) all of whom reside in High Point. Bill was also proud of his grandchildren, Shannon Martin, Hollie Farrington, Ashley Wallace, Micah Farrington, Tyler Farrington, Madison Parrish, Nathan Umberger as well as his great grandchildren, Austin, Shannon, Adison, Mason, Jacob, Branson, Bella, Landan, Oliver, and great great grandchildren Rosie and LynnLeigh. Memorial donations may be made to Parkwood Baptist Church at 2107 Penny Road High Point, NC 27265 and Sandy Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery Fund at 2223 Sandy Ridge Rd, High
