William Richard Greger Sr: 10/12/1932 - 07/09/2023 Explorer of random trails and roadside "Hystorical Markers” ‘on the way to getting there', holder of the steadfast rule of "take it as it comes" from a bag of Pick-a-Mix candy, toastmaster extraordinaire, early computer whiz, DIY-er of building and repairs, master of corny dad humor, Korean War vet, avid follower of the stock market and father of 8 very different personalities - raised in the home designed by his wife, on the shores of Bald Eagle Lake. Bill left us to join his beloved life partner 7 months and 4 days after she started their new path. Bill and Joan met at the age of 19 on a blind double date. They were their friend’s dates. Halfway though the evening Joan, taken by Bill’s wavy blond hair and charm, crooked her arm in his and said ‘Honey, you’re with me now’. They were inseparable from then on. Survived by their children, William (Trina) Greger, Joseph (Philomena) Greger, Michael Greger, Jodie Greger, Jeanine (Eldon) Vickerman, Pat rice Greger, James Greger and Michelle (Jon) Hunt. 15 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. His siblings, John Jr. and Gloria. Preceded in death by his parents John and Irene, siblings Gordon and Jeanne and his adored, Joan Greger (neé Barrett). Celebration of Life TBD. We love you, dad!
