William O. Grosch

William " Bill " O. Grosch, 88, devoted husband, beloved father and grandfather, passed away on March 5, 2016. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Providence Baptist Church at 11:00am. A reception will follow the service. Bill was born June 13, 1927 in Hopewell, VA. Bill was a veteran, serving in the Army Air Corps in WWII and US Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Virginia Electric Power Company, H.K. Porter Company and the Robert W. Chapman Company until his retirement. Bill was an active member of Providence Baptist Church since 1967 ( 49 years ). He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Stanley Grosch and his parents, William H. and Frances Grosch. Bill is survived by children, Kirk Grosch ( Debbi) and Kerry Winter ( Carlton), both of Charlotte; brother, Richard Grosch ( Gloria) of Quinton, Va; three grandchildren, Stacy Grosch, Kathryn Berry ( Jake) and Justin Winter, all of Charlotte.
