William "Kong" W. Hartzig, 60, of North Syracuse, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, surrounded by his family. He worked for the North Syracuse Police Department and retired from Madison County Sherriff's Department. He is survived by his daughter, Leana "Ben" Okun; grandsons, Benjamin and Blake; brothers, Carl (Lorinda) and Dave; aunt, Chi-Wha Hwang; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Celebration of life will take place on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Bella Domani from 4-8PM.
