William "Bill" Frank Herdrich, Jr.
January 2nd, 1957 - June 16th, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William "Bill" Frank Herdrich. He was born on January 2, 1957 in San Antonio, Texas, and passed away on June 16, 2024, in Costa Mesa, California. Bill touched countless lives over his 67 years through his kindness, leadership, and deep dedication to his family and friends.Bill leaves behind his loving wife Dalita Herdrich, his unwavering son Nicholas "Nick" Herdrich, and his cherished grandchildren, Ashton and Mya Herdrich. He is also survived by his mother, Joan Herdrich, his sisters Ellen Lesicko and Marilee Nielsen, and his brothers Ronald "Ron" Herdrich and Anthony "Tony" Herdrich. Bill's family extended to his beloved nieces and nephews, whom he also held close to his heart.Bill graduated from Fountain Valley High School with the Class of 1975 and then studied Business Administration & Management at Cal State Long Beach. He carried this educational foundation into a notable career in aerospace, most recently serving as Vice President of Business Development at Briles Aerospace. He also made significant contributions in roles such as Vice President of Sales at Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing and Chief Operating Officer at Air Industries Corporation, among others. Bill's leadership and compassion were hallmarks of his professional life, where he always led by example and found meaning in mentoring others.Bill's gentle, loving nature made him a beacon of warmth to all who knew him. He valued making people feel heard and good about themselves, often forming deep, lasting friendships with his colleagues.In his personal life, Bill found joy in many things including golf, singing karaoke, watching game shows and Saturday Night Live, and spending every day with his adored wife. On weekends he could be found cheering on his grandson at his baseball and soccer games. Bill's love for seasonal fun and festivities was evident in his spirited Halloween decorating and his annual Christmas parties, a testament to his love of bringing people together.A traditional funeral service will be held on July 2, 2024, at 12 noon at Saint Timothy Catholic Church:29102 Crown Valley Parkway, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677.In this time of sorrow, we find comfort in remembering Bill's remarkable life, his achievements, and the love he shared with those around him.Rest in peace, Bill. Your legacy of dedication, kindness, and compassion will forever remain in our hearts.
