William O. Johnson
July 24th, 1935 - February 1st, 2009
Johnson, William O., 73, of Sun City Center, Fla passed away February 1, 2009. He retired from the United States Army as a Sergeant Major. During his military career, he was stationed in Viet Nam, Korea and spent 30 years in Germany. He was a member Prince of Peace Catholic Church and many military organizations, as well as the NARFE, the German-American Club and Falcon Watch Golf Club. Survivors include his wife, Gabriele, a daughter, Katrina Benson-Lamp and her husband, Olen Lamp, two grandchildren, Micah and Dominique Benson, two brothers two sisters and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Sun City Center Funeral Home, 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, Fla. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Good Samaritan Services, 916 North Pebble Beach Boulevard, Sun City Center, Fla 33573.
