Keyes, William R., 82, of St. Petersburg, died Tuesday December 17, 2002 at home. Born in Peabody, MA, he came here in 1978 from Atlanta, GA. He was a Navy veteran of WWII, a retired Division Sales Manager with Gibson Greeting Cards, a member of Maximo Presbyterian Church, a 33rd Degree Mason in Cedar Rapids, IA, a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, a volunteer with the St. Petersburg Police Department and a member of the Republican Party of Pinellas County. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Esther; two sons, Charles W. Keyes, Roswell, GA and Terry L. Keyes, Matthews, NC; two daughter-in-laws, Jill W. Keyes and Becky A. Keyes; three grandchildren and a special family friend, Robin Ambrose. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions to The Hospice of The Florida Suncoast, 300 East Bay Dive, Largo, FL 33770 or Maximo Presbyterian Church, 3200 58th Avenue South, St. Petersburg, FL 33712.
