William Leonard Knorr, 95 William "Bill" Knorr, 95, of Tucson, Arizona, was called home to be with His Lord Jesus Christ on Monday, January 8, 2018. Born July 3, 1922, in Prospect Park, New Jersey. Bill was the third of the eleven children of Wilhelmina (Koenig) Knorr and Leonard Knorr. A master carpenter and also a phenomenal trumpeter, William loved his work, using his many talents to serve his Savior with great skill and devotion, throughout his entire life. Bill is survived by the love of his life and wife of 69 years, Dorothy Grace (Hutsebaut) Knorr, along with their four children, Carolyn Smith, Kevin (Sharon) Knorr, Philip (Daphne) Knorr, and Janet (Anthony) Deden. He is also survived by his sister, Lenora Hoffman, his brother, Leonard Knorr, nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and eight brothers and sisters, all of whom are undoubtedly embracing him with indescribable joy at this moment. After a memorial service at El Camino Baptist Church, the graveside ceremony will be held at East Lawn Cemetery where William will be laid to rest, awaiting the final resurrection.
