William J. Langlois
September 17th, 1941 - March 9th, 2006
Mr. William J. Langlois, 64, of Broadalbin, died Thursday, March 9, 2006. He was born September 17, 1941 in Gloversville, the son of the late George and Leona Abrams Langlois. Mr. Langlois was educated in Guilderland schools and employed as a trimmer for NYPAC leather in Gloversville, retiring in 2005. He is survived by his wife Patricia Edick Langlois of Broadalbin whom he married February 8, 1964. Mr. Langlois is also survived by his children; William Langlois, Jr. of Gloversville, George Langlois of Broadalbin, Denise Wadsworth of Gloversville and Billie Jo Loveless of Broadalbin. Six sisters also survive; Phyllis Auty and Shirley Loucks of Broadalbin, Margaret Benedetti of Florida, Sonja Zemanek and Sandra Langlois both of Johnstown and Barbara Van Auken of Altamont, New York. Mr. Langlois also leaves sixteen grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by a brother; George Langlois. Funeral services will be conducted 10 am Tuesday from the Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 W. Main Street, Broadalbin, with the Reverend Wayne Jones officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 4 to 7pm at the funeral home. Spring burial will take place at Union Mills Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Road, Loudonville, NY 12211
