William "Bill" Hollis Morris

“In Loving Memory of William H.”Bill” Morris.Bill was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on May 15th 2024.Born August 7 1933,in Marion Alabama. Bill joined the Military and shortly thereafter married his high school sweetheart Nina Aileen. Bill and sweet Nina were married 71 years and had 2 children.After serving 10 years as a Military Police officer in the Air Force, he was honorably discharged. Bill then moved with his family to Washington DC area, where he served as a guard at George Washington’s Mount Vernon home on the Potomac River.Later he returned to Alabama and ran a business as a trucker and logger before moving to Tacoma, Washington in 1967. This is where he began his lifelong career as an Rv Salesman and eventually retired in Puyullap Washington. Bill was never one to let any grass grow under his feet so he stayed quite active In Retirement.He spent his time enjoying the things he loved most. His favorite things included spending time with family, friends and his pets. He also loved travel,camping,fishing,hunting,playing cards,building projects,making southern style homemade ice cream, growing and eating hot peppers, watching his favorite sports teams and game shows on TV, ( Roll Tide Roll and Go Seahawks) just to name a few. Bill will remain in the hearts of the many who knew him, bringing smiles regarding unforgettable memories, as he was truly “One of a Kind” He will always be remembered and greatly loved.
