William "Bill" Moyer
November 8th, 1932 - June 12th, 2015
MOYER, William, “Bill”, 82, of Lutz, Florida passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. He was born in Massillon, Ohio and moved to Tampa in 1958. Bill served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a mechanic for the City of Tampa Fire Department for 25 years. He was a member of the Tampa Bay Antique Car Club. Bill enjoyed volunteering at the Lakeland Sun ‘n Fun Fly- In. He also loved travelling and had visited 49 states, Canada, and several European countries. He enjoyed many outdoor activities such as camping, snow skiing, and boating. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Russell Moyer and Esther Ferrell and two wives, Shirley Moyer (1934-1982) and Lowene Moyer (1941-2013). Bill is survived by his brother, Kevin Moyer; half-brother, Marty Moyer; sister, Karen Sboray; half-sister, Janis Labusch three daughters Susan Hartmann, Sandra Mihalcin, and Brenda Cole; step-mother, Ronnie Moyer; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Bill’s memory to Melech Hospice.
