William John Munson

The angels came for William John Munson on October 23, 2017, as they took him to meet the Lord face to face. John was born on May 26, 1952 in Denver, Colorado to Raymond and LaVonne Munson, and grew up on a dairy farm in Greeley, Colorado. When he was nine years old, he was in a school bus accident. The bus was hit by a passenger train, which prevented him from serving in the military. As an adult, John worked at Monfort Meat Packing plant; when in Seattle, he work for Dineair at Seattle International Airport; and after moving to Tumwater, he drove heavy equipment for Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers. John is survived by his mother, Lavonne; the love of his life, Annie Moss Munson; daughters, Rainbow Daffern and Jolene Mitchell of Colorado; brothers, Tom, Gary, Frank and Lindsey Munson; sisters, Vicky Allmer, Beverley Raines and Shirley Bates; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father, Raymond; brothers, Jimmy, Randy, Delbert and Roger Munson; and daughter, Starr Wright.
