O'CONNOR, William Neil 83, of Oro Valley died on October 16, 2018. He leaves behind his wife of 53 years, Nancy Heeley O'Connor; three children, Michael Bradley O'Connor, Jennifer Ann O'Connor, Erin O'Connor Stark and son-in-law, Lt. Col Scott A Stark (Ret); five grandchildren, Austin Patrick O'Connor, Lt. John Patrick Stark (USAF), Emma Elizabeth Stark, Quinn Delaney Stark and William Anthony Stark. A graduate of Concord High School, class of 1953 and Northeastern University, class of 1958 with honors. He served in the US Army from 1958 through 1961. An avid long distance runner and golfer, he enjoyed European travel, hiking and camping in our American Southwest. Predeceased by his parents, W. Harold and Blanche O'Connor; sisters, Kathleen McDavitt and Marion O'Connor. Viewing will take place on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at ADAIR FUNERAL HOMES, Avalon Chapel, 8090 N. Northern Ave., in Oro Valley. Committal Services will take place at the Arizona Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Marana, AZ on Thursday, October 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be
