William G. Orr

Orr, William G. ?Bill,? 81, of St. Petersburg, died Saturday March 6, 2004 at St. Anthony?s Hospital. He graduated from St. John?s University in 1949 with a Liberal Arts Degree. He served as a Sergeant in the US Army Air Corps during WWII and received the American Service Medal and Asiatic/Pacific Theatre Service medal. He came here in 1994 from his native Brooklyn, NY, where he retired as a Treasury Agent for the Internal Revenue Service after 31 years of service. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Frances; two daughters: Rita Horton and Kathy Pagano, both of Charlotte, NC; a son, Bill Orr, Tampa, FL; a sister, Joan Orr, Alta Loma, CA; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
