William Albert Owens, Sr., 90, passed away March 1, 2014 in Mesa, AZ. William was born in 1923 to John and Sarah Owens in Buffalo., Illinois. William served in the United States Army with General Patton. William is survived by his daughter, Mary Coglianese of Gilbert, AZ; sons, William Owens Jr., of Ramona, CA, George Owens, of Salem, OR. and an adopted son Robert Eugene Owens. William had 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 3 great, great grandchildren. William is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Jane Owens. Arrangements entrusted to Falconer Funeral Home of Gilbert, AZ. Gramps will be missed greatly and was loved by all.
