William Howard Payne

PAYNE, William H. “Bill”, 55, of Land O' Lakes, Fla. passed away Thursday, August 19th 2010 after a long courageous battle with melanoma. He was born in Hollywood, Fla. and was a 1973 graduate of Naples High School. For over 25 years, he was dedicated to the food sales industry and had worked his way from grocery bag boy to Director of Sales. Bill was an avid reader and enjoyed computers. Whether it was in the house or on the computer if something didn't work, he could figure it out and fix it. He was a loving husband, family man, grandfather and friend. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Virginia and his brother, Gary. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Valerie; two daughters, Jennifer Artz and her husband, Carl of Odessa, Fla. and Heather Allard of Land O' Lakes, Fla.; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rene and John Kollarek of Duluth, Ga., uncle and aunt, John and Betty Richmond of Covington, Ga., nephew, Michael Kollarek of Duluth, Ga., and granddaughters, Kara and Julia Artz whom he dearly loved. A memorial service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25th at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will recieve friends one hour prior to the service.
