William Charles Relihan

William “Bill” Charles Relihan embarked on his voyage into the Kingdom of Heaven on August 26, 2019, in Sun City Center, FL. Bill is survived by Margaret “Margie” Relihan, his loving wife of over 40 years, Kathleen “Katie” Relihan, his daughter, Michael Relihan, his son, and Suzanne Attreed, his sister. Bill is also survived by many treasured friends who were considered family. Bill was born in Brooklyn, New York City, NY, on August 28, 1950. He attended the La Salle Academy and Manhattan College, joining the brotherhood of Alpha Sigma Beta and graduating with a degree in chemical engineering. Bill was fortunate to have traveled the world pursuing his career in water treatment. Ultimately, he settled down with Margie to raise their family in La Habra Heights, CA, and then Apollo Beach, FL. Bill spent the prime years of his life finding any way to devote all his efforts to his wife and children. With his remaining energy, Bill devoted time to his faith and to those friends of Bill W. who reached out to him for help. Bill succumbed to a long battle with congestive heart failure. Some would say that a big heart led to the end of his life; however, a big heart is how Bill lived his life. A celebration of life ceremony is scheduled for September 14, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. The celebration will be hosted at Sun City Center Funeral Home, located at 1851 Rickenbacker Drive, Sun City Center, FL 33573.
