A celebration of life for William Sinclair, 91 of Chico will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008 at the Terraces Lodge. William passed away April 17, 2008 in Chico. He was born March 30,1917 in Corte Madera, CA to William and Hazel Sinclair. William attended Poly High School in San Francisco, CA and the University of Santa Clara. He was a flight instuctor in the Army Air Corp. William married Thelma Frost in 1941. He worked for Conoco-Phillips and retired as a Vice President. His memberships include the Elks Club, S.I.R.S, and the Jonathan Club in Los Angeles. William enjoyed golf, travel, collecting coins. William was an all city football star which landed him a scholarship to the University of Santa Clara. He is survived by his wife, Thelma of Chico; daughter, Margo Graham (Thomas) of Chico; son, Michael Sinclair (Nancy) of Los Gatos, CA; grandchildren, Kristen Taylor, Tom Graham, Jr., Jonathan Graham, Jessica Graham, Todd Sinclair, Jason Sinclair; great-grandchildren, Cole Taylor, Aidan Graham, Sullivan Graham and Quintin and Skylar Sinclair. He also leaves behind a brother, Kenneth Sinclair. Memorial contributions can be made to the Hydrocephalus Association, 870 Market St., San Francisco, CA 94102.
