March 29th, 1955 - June 3rd, 2013
Kernersville-William Jeffrey Staples, 58, passed away June 3, 2013. A Gathering of his Family and Friends will be held Saturday June 15, 2013 from 1PM until 6PM at the home of his sister Teresa Braswell, 4012 Bienvenue Drive in Greensboro. A native of Durham, Jeff was the son of Shirley Faye Hughes and William Terrell Staples who survive. He was a member of Sedge Garden United Methodist Church. A welder by trade, Jeff thoroughly enjoyed his family, NASCAR, hockey, and being outdoors. His greatest joy was making others laugh and watching their enjoyment. In addition to his parents Bill and Shirley Staples of Kernersville, he also is survived by his son Eric Staples and Allison; daughters Lyndsey Lipford and Heath, Brooke Staples and Heath, and their mother Kathy French Staples. He is also survived by his sister Teresa Braswell and Doug; grandchildren Andrew Staples, Abbi Staples, Meri Staples, Luke Lipford, and Paityn Hancock.
