Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home
William G Stauffer
September 28th, 1946 - August 30th, 2018
Bill was a friend to anyone and everyone, generous in spirit, and a person who would go out of his way to help. Fond of yanking a person’s chain, Bill teased you because he liked you and could get anyone to laugh. A devoted husband and loving father, Bill took pride in raising two sons, taking them in with open arms despite neither being his biological child. He was a pragmatist and a hard worker, a co-owner of a successful manufacturing company with his wife and family until they retired. A man of faith, he acknowledged he wasn’t perfect and didn’t expect others to be, which meant he was always happy to talk and listen. Bill passed away at home, as he wished, surrounded by his wife, son, and dogs, on August 30th, 2018 at the age of 71. Bill will be deeply missed by his wife of 29 years, Judy Mathison, son Brandon (Abby) Krawczyk of San Antonio, Texas, brother Mark (Rachel) Stauffer, and other friends and family. Bill was preceded in death by son Daniel Stauffer and parents Wesley and Charlene Stauffer. A memorial service for Bill is planned for Saturday, October 6th, at 11:00 a.m. with a visitation from 9:00a.m. to 10:45a.m. at The Loft and Chapel at Cedar Ridge, Waukesha N7 W23827 Bluemound Rd Waukesha WI 53188 . Private burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to K9s for Warriors, 114 Camp K9 Road, Ponte Vedra FL 32081-7011, Illinois Birddog Rescue, PO Box 364, Wood Dale IL 60191-0364, or Spring Creek Church, N35W22000 Capitol Dr., Pewaukee, WI 53072-4168.
