William 'Bill' Frank Stiles
February 13th, 1930 - July 2nd, 2016
Bill passed away unexpectedly from respiratory arrest due to Guillian Barre Syndrome. He was surrounded by his wife and family. His love and wisdom will be missed. Bill was born in San Francisco to his parents, Dr. Frank and Dr. Josephine Stiles. He attended Menlo School and College and graduated from Lowell High. He served in the Army and Army Reserves 1949-1977 retiring as Command Sergeant Major, 91st COM. He was a Teamster, Local 70 for 35 yrs. He was partners with his brother, Richards in Property Investments Associates. He was a member of SIRS. Pat and Bill moved to Pleasant Hill in 1954 and raised 7 children. After his world travels with Pat, family and friends he enjoyed working side by side with Pat in their beautiful garden. He is survived by his loving wife, Pat of 66 years and children, Michael (Daina), Susan (Stephen), Greg (Vickie), Karen, Lesley, Billy, Kathleen (Stephen); 8 grandsons and one granddaughter, Gregory (April), Bryan (Lacy) Isaac, Elijah, Kurt, Miguel, Lucas, Lauren, James; and great-grandchildren, Blake, Bailey and Aleah. Bill was a wise, kind man, greatly loved and will be dearly missed. He left too soon. Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
