June 1st, 1944 - February 3rd, 2023
The family of William H. Suddarth Sr. are sad to announce his passing on February, 3, 2023 at the age of 78 years. His sense of humor, great story telling and kindness were traits known and loved by family and friends. He is survived by: his loving wife of 58 years, Wilma Wheeler Suddarth; his 2 sons William (Kim) Suddarth Jr and Chad Jeremy Suddarth; his granddaughers Brittany and Haley; his brother Frank (Dene) Suddarth; his sister Lyda Burnett; 2 sister-in-laws Cookie Connell and Beverley (Geoff) Griggs; and many nieces and nephews. Bill loved the Fire Department, fast cars, Harley's, Golfing and the many friends he made through those "hobbies". He joined the Fire Department in 1968 and retired after 26 years. He was the owner of Quality Motor Cars for many years, wholesaling cars to other dealers. He was an avid golfer and won many tournaments. He loved playing in the Fire Department Olympics. He loved watching the Atlanta Braves. He also loved working on his 1953 Ford Truck with the guys at the Hobby Shop. The Gathering of Friends and Family in Celebration of Bill's Life will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 2202 Dr MLK Street North, St Petersburg, FL 33704
